HAN Here And Now is the musical project by singer and multi-instrumentalist Han van ’t Land. Through his concerts, immersive experiences, and workshops, he sparks awareness, connection, and joy, guiding people to a place of unity and free expression.

His experience is wide-ranging: from retreats in Mexico and school-wide jam sessions, to energizers for companies, his own stage at Lowlands, and training programs for organizations in (post-)conflict areas and refugee camps in the Middle East.

About

Musician
HAN is a passionate singer, songwriter, composer, and multi-instrumentalist.
After touring Dutch theaters with the band ‘Braque’, and releasing 2 albums with the folk duo ‘Spix Macaw’, he started his solo project ‘HAN Here And Now’.
Whether solo or with a band, he plays a mix of folk, medicine music, and global rhythms with tribal influences. (Spiritual) Journeys, nature, and current social themes inspire his original songs.

In the Netherlands, he has performed at events such as Het Grote Fijne, Wonderfeel Festival, Music Meeting Nijmegen, Landjuweel Festival, Jazz & de Walvis, and the Ecstatic Dance Festival Holland.

Music Education and Community Music Projects
With over 20 years of experience, Han is not only a performer but also an experienced workshop leader and facilitator. After earning his Bachelor’s Degree in Music Education from the Conservatory of Amsterdam, he has worked extensively in educational, social, and community settings as an artistic leader, teacher, and facilitator, using music to connect, empower, and uplift.

He has contributed to numerous community music projects, including work with Fort van de Verbeelding and the NGO Sounds of Change, facilitating music-based social change programs in refugee camps and post-conflict regions such as Lebanon, Jordan, and Romania.

Retreats & Ceremonies
Since 2022, Han has been involved with the Jeela Mystical Music Retreat and the 100H Certified Sound Healing Facilitator Training in Mexico. At Jeela and in the Netherlands, he serves as both a teacher and facilitator, as well as a ceremonial musician, bringing presence, sensitivity, and musical depth to each setting.

De Superjam - Interactive Concerts
Han runs his own company, offering SuperJams: interactive, immersive concerts where he guides large groups on a non-verbal musical journey. Using rhythm, voice, movement, and simple instruments, he creates powerful shared experiences that spark connection and joy. Whether at schools, festivals, or corporate events, he brings any group into a musical flow.

You can feel this broad experience on stage.
Han brings a disarming and infectious energy and has an instinctive ability to tune into a group, creating a safe space while involving the participants through music. With an open heart, passion, and a positive mindset, he shares his music and skills, driven by the belief that music is medicine, and can make the world a more beautiful place.

"Music is a bridge. It connects us to ourselves, to others, and to the present moment.
Whether through a concert, an interactive workshop, a ceremonie or a deep musical experience, my goal is always the same:
to create a safe space where people can feel free, connected, and truly alive."
